The Story Behind the Show
About ResilientU
Authentic leadership is not a style choice. It's a decision to be honest about where you are, what you don't know, and what it actually cost you to get here.
Our Mission
Why this show exists.
The ResilientU Show was built for people who are done with surface-level conversations about leadership. For the ones who've been in hard rooms, made impossible calls, and carried weight that didn't come with a manual.
We talk about self-awareness, mental health, and what it actually looks like to build a resilient version of yourself — not the version that looks good on LinkedIn, but the one that shows up when it matters.
Real talk for real leaders.
The Hosts
The people behind the mic.
Carlo DelDonno
U.S. Army Captain | Physician | Leadership Coach
Carlo DelDonno is a U.S. Army Captain and physician completing his anesthesia residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, with a career built across emergency medicine, military leadership, and humanitarian work on three continents.
He spent years as a paramedic running emergency calls, then served as a Non-Commissioned Officer leading over 160 soldiers in a combat support hospital before commissioning as an officer. Along the way he volunteered on pediatric surgical missions in Mexico, deployed to a border camp in Matamoros to provide medical aid to asylum seekers, and responded to Cyclone Kenneth in Mozambique with Team Rubicon. He also spent years leading a nonprofit West Coast Swing dance community in Hampton Roads before relocating to DC.
What connects all of it is a belief that authentic leadership is not a style choice. It is a decision to be honest about where you are, what you do not know, and what it actually cost you to get here. Carlo brings that same honesty to the ResilientU Show, because the conversations that help people most are rarely the polished ones.
